Man Style

It's the holidays, and since the second school ended all I wanted to do was drink, party, and drink more. But i must say, I have overestimated my ability to go out three days in a row, and am rather disappointed. After late nights on both Thursday and Friday I don't really know if I'm up for another late one on Saturday, no matter how appealing a Sunday morning hangover does sound.

There is also the other small factor that comes with the unexpected hangover, and that is the walk of shame, which I unfortunately had to experience this Saturday morning - not fun, especially when you don't have spare clothes and have to walk in the same clothes and shoes from last night. This is when it becomes time to improvise. When you're given a mans wardrobe, what can you do with it? Quite a lot apparently.

There's Nothing in the Water

Last week of school and it has never gone so slowly.

Especially when i've got friday fever.

Is there anything that can cure me?

For now, I just keep thinking about the weekend to keep me motivated, plus trying on multiple outfits at night when i should be studying - oh the joy of year 12.

My friend Lauren has also got me hooked on some great bands and got me liking more music other than just dance, and I think these songs are definitely worth downloading.

There's Nothing in the water - Cloud Control
Ghost Story - Cloud Control
Gold Canary - Cloud Control
Helicopter - Bloc Party
Diplomat's Son - Vampire Weekend

Hustla

We all want to be different, which makes us the same.
Organising events may seem like fun, but underneath all those cocktails, music and fab outfits there's a lot of stress. Currently organising my 18th birthday party and it's turning out to be a lot more difficult than I had hoped, especially finding a venue. Hopefully finding a head turning dress won't be as hard.

It may have been the longest week of my life, but exams are finally over.

hellz yeah.
Ofcourse, i would just like to say a few special thanks - to my always full kitchen pantry which helped me fight through the stressful times, and the multiple cups of hot chocolate - your ability to keep me awake during those all nighters has never been taken for granted.

Time Well Spent

exaaaammm time! school is finally over, but yes, we still have the dreaded exams ahead of us!
If you're like me, you've left everything to the last minute and your brain feels like it's about to explode with all the information you've surprisingly managed to stuff into it in the last couple of days. Yet, we still find time to do the casual facebook stalking or blog browsing. Or, if you're like me your downloading as many new songs as you can, and checking out newly bought cleo and vogue living magazines while snacking on juicy fruit.

P.s. I <3>

Haven't got too many new songs since internet has been really slow lately, so here are some semi-new ones and just some good favourites,

Low Happening - Howling Bells
A bad dream - Keane

Dreaming about Schoolies

Yes it's one week till exams, yes I'm in year 12, and yes I should be studying, but at the moment all i can seem think about it schoolies at the end of the year! Thanks to my amazing friend Georgia and her many connections we scored a house for schoolies! And just when we thought everything was booked out, she goes and pulls an amazing 5 bedroom house with spa and tennis court out of her ass! That girl...
But of course, schoolies is during the summer time, and would involve wearing minimal clothing (think short shorts, singlets, and yes, the dreaded word - bikinis). I know it's winter and we are lucky enough to be able to hide our muffin tops underneath layers of cardigans and coats. However, to avoid massive starvation in order to slip into those size 8 shorts, i say start eating healthy now, (Well, says Georgia, she's got me hooked on this healthy eating stuff!)
As Miranda Kerr says, "You're body is your temple"
If it means looking like her, I think it's worth a go...
Here's some healthy recipes to kick start you, and some motivational images to get you going!

Splurge or Study?

With 2 weeks to go until exams it's time to knuckle down and STUDY STUDY STUDY!
Ohhh how depressing. Weekends turn into days locked up in the house, and stress and weight levels sky rocket. However, that doesn't mean you can't splurge a little bit...

The Victoria’s Secret website currently has a sale, with all stock reduced! This is the perfect chance to grab some bargains online, like some new bra's or bathers for summer, especially because we don't get Victoria's Secret here in Aus!
Even though we all don't look like Victoria's Secret angel Miranda Kerr, here's just a few piccies that will hopefully distract you from study, and make you put down that jumbo size packet of snakes you've been snacking on...

Go eat a hamburger, please.

Also currently obsessed with the OC Soundtrack.
I know it's old, but it's just too good to get sick of. Here's some of my favourites:

Publish my Love - Rogue Wave
Paint the Silence - South
You Got Me All Wrong - Dios Malos
Trouble Sleeping - The Perishers
